Community Transport
Providing on-demand transport for social, cultural, shopping and medical needs which cannot be met by other means
Muthill Community Travel Ground operates an on-demand service to our members for social, cultural, shopping and medical needs which cannot be met by existing public transport. Membership is open to anyone resident within a four-mile radius of Muthill which includes all areas of Crieff and Gilmerton.
Although local travel is free for our members, donations are always welcome to help us maintain the service.

Travel
MCTG now offer our members the option of transport by car to medical appointments at a reasonable cost. No charge will be made for this service within our 4-mile membership area, but all appointments beyond will incur a fixed charge of approximately 50% of our operating cost for the service.
The cost for return travel to the most common destinations of Perth Royal Infirmary and Ninewells Hospital are £10 and £20 respectively.
Volunteering
We operate entirely on a voluntary basis, so are always welcoming new volunteers, particularly drivers for our 8 passenger transport, and for our Hospital Car Scheme where we will pay expenses for the use of driver’s cars. Drivers are reimbursed in line with HMRC guidance for their cost of using their car to provide this service.
